Robert J. Denison

Finacial and Litigation Consultant, Robert Denison, and his team provide expert economic analysis, financial evaluation, expert witness services, and strategic planning to individuals, corporations, and non-profit organizations.

 A graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School, this Baker Scholar graduated with High Distinction and was designated as a Harvard National Scholar. For the past ten years Robert Denison has been a Director of six of the American Funds, with assets in excess of $400 billion dollars. During this time he has served as Chairman of the Audit Committee and  is currently Chairman of the Governance Committee. Assets of the entire group exceed $1 trillion dollars.

From 1967 to 2002, Mr. Denison acted as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of First Security Management Company, New York. He founded First Security Management as the parent for a family of domestic and international private equity entities. Clientele included high net-worth individuals, non-profit institutions, and international banks. Funds were invested in marketable securities, venture capital, leveraged buy-outs, risk arbitrage, and distressed securities.

Robert Denison provides consulting services for matters involving investments and investment related litigation. Based upon over forty years of experience, education, and training, together with his teaching at Columbia University Graduate School of Business, Mr. Denison is able to address and analyze highly complex financial issues, as well as communicate his findings to a wide variety of audiences.
